To address the challenges hindering investment towards the adoption of energy efficiency in the building sector, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) through the Asia Low Carbon Buildings Transition (ALCBT) Programme is developing the ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Matchmaking Platform—a one-stop platform to accelerate and mobilise investment for energy-efficient practices in buildings by facilitating connections between project developers and potential investors across the ASEAN region. 

As a follow up to the first consultation workshop held in November of 2024, the “2nd Consultation Workshop on ASEAN Energy Efficiency Database and Investment Platform” will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 30 April 2025. This workshop aims to collect stakeholder feedback on the proposed features and functionalities, discuss knowledge and cases on the EE project matchmaking mechanism, and introduce the pilot testing framework and discuss data requirements.
